Amazon Prime Day Nears, Offering Discounts on Summer Gear

Amazon is launching early deals ahead of its annual Prime Day event, offering significant discounts on various products, including outdoor recreational equipment. As of June 24, an inflatable stand-up paddleboard is available at a 47% discount, positioning it as a timely purchase for Fourth of July activities.

The FunWater Inflatable Ultra-Light Stand Up Paddle Board is being offered as part of these early promotions. This package includes the paddleboard, a high-pressure pump, an adjustable aluminum paddle, a safety leash, a travel backpack, and three detachable fins. The product is described as engineered for stability and ease of transport, featuring a durable, puncture-resistant build and a non-slip deck.

Prime Day, Amazon's largest sale event of the year, is scheduled to run from Tuesday, June 23, at 3 a.m. ET, through Saturday, June 27, at 3 a.m. ET. This year's event includes new programs such as a "Today's Big Deals" initiative with discounts up to 50% or more, and new deals appearing as frequently as every five minutes. Prime members will also have access to exclusive travel deals and opportunities to win free groceries for a year with qualifying online grocery orders, or an Amazon gift card by setting up deal alerts with Alexa.

Additionally, limited-time offers are available to Prime members leading up to June 26, including a $5 large pepperoni or cheese pizza from Little Caesars and a $1,500 Amazon gift card for those purchasing a new car through Amazon Autos.

Amazon Prime membership is required to access Prime Day deals, though a 30-day free trial is available. The sale typically features discounts on a wide range of items, from beauty and skincare to tech and home appliances. Amazon's second major sale event, Prime Big Deal Days, is anticipated to return in the fall of 2026.
